EDA Defence R&T Joint Investment Programme on Force Protection (JIP-FP)

The Joint Investment Programme Arrangement specifying, inter alia, the provisions for selecting and contracting research activities, managing IPR, and controlling the finances for the programme has been signed by the 20 contributing Members on 14th May.
The first call for proposals, dedicated mainly to “collective survivability”, was issued on 15th May 2007 directly to the 270 potential contractors that have been designated by the contributing Members.
A special procedure however allows entities having missed the 9th May deadline to join consortia participating in the first call. For further information, late comers are invited to contact one of the Joint Investment Programme Points of Contact in the relevant country, providing to the point of contact the required information.
The Management Committee is now beginning to discuss the selection of R&T Topics in view of a second call for proposals.
