FOCUS
The FOCUS Centre of Excellence is a joint initiative to explore new possibilities arising from the rapid development in sensor technology and sensor related research.
The research within FOCUS comprise signal and image processing, technology for high resolution and proximity systems in the microwave and THz-region as well as architecture and resource allocation issues in sensor networks, and sensor data fusion. Applications for the research can be found in a number of areas such as surveillance, access checkpoints for people and luggage, marine radar, climate monitoring, food safety and medical diagnostics.
