RUFS
The project on Russian Foreign, Defence and Security Policy (RUFS), primarily studies the following aspects of development in Russia and the former Soviet Union:
- Russian domestic and foreign policy
- Russian threat assessment and security policy decision making
- The Russian armed forces, including weapons of mass destruction
- The Russian military industrial complex and R&D
- Russian economic development and defence economy
- Russian energy policy
- Developments in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and the Caucasus
