About FOCUS
The research within FOCUS is conducted with active participation from industry partners as an integral part. This will strengthen the relevance and facilitates efficient exchange of knowledge and experience between the partners involved.
FOI Centre for Advanced Sensors, Multisensors and Sensor Networks (FOCUS) is one of eight Institute Centres of Excellence initiated by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA), The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) and the Knowledge Foundation (KK-stiftelsen). FOCUS is located in Linköping, and is based on the competence and research established at FOI, primarily in the areas of sensor systems, sensor networks and data fusion.
FOCUS is a joint initiative by FOI and the participating industries, partly funded by the Swedish government. Also participating are Linköping University and Chalmers University of Technology.
