The FOI Studies in African Security team has been entrusted with a number of projects and studies, including themes such as:

• The African Union (AU)
• China, USA, France and EU as External Actors in Africa.
• Country and Region Analyses
• UN-EU-AU Coordination in Peace Operations in Africa.
• Workshop on Environmental Security Concerns prior to and during Peace Support and Crisis Management Operations: Focus Africa.

The results of these studies are published as reports and memos. A select number of these products can be found at this website, under 'Recently Published' and Publications.

We are also collaboratively conducting a lecture series on 'African Security' together with the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI). The participants come from a wide range of public sector actors in Sweden, including the Ministries for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Swedish Rescue Services Agency, Swedish Armed Forces, Swedish International Development Agency, the National Defence College, and the Folke Bernadotte Academy.
