Organization

FOI is organized into seven divisions. Six conduct research within different areas of expertise within defence and security. The seventh is a support division; its focus includes administration, IT and communication. FOI’s upper-level management consists of the Director-General, Deputy Director-General, Director of Planning, Director of Finance and six Heads of Division. FOI also has a Board of Directors.
