Processing of personal data
This is how we process the personal data that you provide to us in connection with registration in courses, training or conferences.
FOI is the personal data controller for the personal data that is collected when you register.
The data is processed for the following purposes:
- To administer the training (for example, to produce participant lists, accommodate special diets, and invoicing) and keep statistics on participation.
- For access to FOI’s premises.
- To be able to offer a new course opportunity for the same course or any other of FOI’s courses.
Only people who work with the administration of the course will process the data.
Personal data linked to the administration of courses and training activities is saved only for as long as the purpose requires it and is subsequently deleted. Certain information linked to payments is saved in accordance with the accounting law.
Information about social security numbers is used for access to FOI’s premises and is stored for ten years.
Information about e-mail addresses is saved until further notice so that FOI can inform about a new course even after the end of the course. If you do not want FOI to save your e-mail address, you can notify FOI accordingly.
By registering for the course or training, you consent to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time by contacting FOI.
