Physical protection and assessing vulnerability, lethality and risks

Before the establishment and during the life cycle of a camp it is essential to identify and analyse the detailed characteristics of any physical threat to the mission and its surroundings. FOI characterizes threats and conducts analysis, simulations and proof testing of protective structures using threats ranging from small arms up to cars and truck bombs.

Vulnerability, lethality and risk assessments consider the effects of warheads, improvised explosive devices and accidental explosions in ammunitions storages on the camp including its personnel and equipment.
