The naval forces conducted in September 2000 the annual exercise SAMMARIN. One of the moments was the Peace Support Operation named "Operation Southern Light". During the exercise Rules of Engagement (ROE) were used. This report describes the methods used to evaluate the use of ROE. The report also contains results and recommendations for further work with ROE.
