In the report economic consequences of war are discussed. As an example calculations, from different sources, on the economic consequences for Yugoslavia as a result of the conflict with NATO over Kosovo are presented. The report shows that it´s possible to cause substantial economic consequences by an air strike. An assesment of the economic consequences of a strike against Sweden would demand a scenario where the targets that the enemy hits are specified, a model of the Swedish economy suited to calculate impacts from armed attacks and assumptions on the economic situation at the time of the attack, for example the capacity utilization.
