Wind turbines are usually erected in areas where there is low or no risk for icing. In Suorva in the northern part of Sweden Vattenfall has built a Bonus 600 kW wind turbine. The climate at the location is such that icing occurs several times per year. This report describes the evaluation of ice and loads during the period January 1 1999 to March 14 2000. In addition to that the efficiency of the drive train has been calculated.
