Electro-optical warfare packages and subsystems are described. Especially missile warning systems and counter measure systems are treated, primarily with respect to helicopters and transporters. The development of systems for fighters is also described. The need of evaluation of EW systems, both using models and hardware-in-the-loop is discussed.
