Tankar om terrorism: Två studier kring ett modernt fenomen

These two studies discuss the kind of religiously motivated terrorism that triggered the attacks in the US on 11/9 2002. The first part, written by Dr. Magnus Norell, is dealing with the motives, methods, organisation, purpose and background of the terrorists. Furthermore, some of the more profound causes as to why this type of terror might become a longterm and difficult problem is discussed. The second part, written by MA Karin Ströberg, discusses how to fight this kind of terrorism. Political, economical, military, and judicial methods, with their respective advantages and disadvantages are discussed. How this challenge will be handled in the future will certainly be one of the more important questions over the next few years.
