Abstract

The report suggests ecofriendly compounds for detection by RAID and AP2C to the Swedish Rescue Services Agency. The suggested training agents will be detected as chemical warfare agents (CWA) by the instruments. The recommendations made in the report are to minimize personal and environmental hazard during education purposes in CWA detection. The training agents for RAID are detected as sarin (TGB), mustard gas (THD) and VX (TVX). Another VX simulant is suggested for detecting VX droplets on surfaces by AP2C. All the training agents were tested on detection paper 105.
