This report describes the work progress in the field of HPM front-door protections and effects, within the HPM protection project, during 2003. The aim of the work is to evaluate and sort out which devices can be used for HPM front-door protection. Measurements and results from limiter testing are presented in the report. An evaluation of which limiters that can be suitable for HPM protection has been done. The report includes results of measurements on various devices, both commercial available limiters and in house designed MMIC limiters. Some conclusions are drawn regarding which technologies that can be suitable for protection and what the future work will focus on. The experimental measurement setup has recently been upgraded with more powerful Microwave amplifiers (TWT), which will be useful in future measurements.
