The topic for this report is the Economic Management in the Swedish Armed Forces. The project has studied the processes for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and accounting. The project has looked into the use of transfer prices and cost allocation. The relevance of the existing system with Management by Objectives and Output is discussed along with the connection between tools for economic planning and follow-up on one hand, and the tools for planning and follow-up of operations on the other hand. Central and local opinions on and experiences from the Economic Management in the Armed Forces are presented in the report.
