The Swedish Defence Research Agency, FOI, has developed a generic simulation model. The ambition is to increase the knowledge, in the Royal Swedish Navy, of electronic warfare (EW) in the duel between a laser guided bomb and a ship. This report describes the structure of the generic duel simulation model, using the simulation tool ACSL Graphic Modeller version 4.8. Moreover it outlines how simulations can be visualised with the program AFE version 2.11. The objective is that persons, guided by the manual, should be able to handle the computers and run the simulation model without further assistance. This also accounts for those with limited background knowledge of simulation models and computer systems. The simulation is run by the use of a PC with Windows XP. The report describes some generic possible electronic warfare duel scenarios. The manual is unclassified. If correct data for the missile, ship and EW equipment is included in the next version of the report, it will be classified.
