This report describes an Electronic Warfare (EW) component in the form of a fast frequency measurement algorithm that has been developed within the project flexible EW-components. This component has been used, mainly for test and measurement applications, within a number of EW-projects. The frequency measurement component is implemented with, and well suited for, FPGAs enabeling the highest real-time performance available today. The frequency measurement algorithm as such performs well in comparison with other methods.
