Abstract

The aim of the report is to visualize the concept of flexibility before the reorganization of the headquarters of the Swedish Armed Forces. Research has shown that the creation of a processoriented organization is built upon how people view the organization before reorganization. Five different definitions are identified: flexibility as capability of coping with immediate problems, flexibility as the capability of finding new and different solutions, and flexibility as capability of changingthe pupose of the organization.
