Abstract

Electromagnetic (EM) scattering from a generic, metallic building and corresponding bistatic SAR simulations have been studied at the VHF-band (20-90MHz). A comparison have been made between such results from two different EM codes, SPECRAY and TFDTD. The results show that SPECRAY generates similar results at the VHF-band as TFDTD .They can both be used with satisfying results at the VHF-band. SPECRAY is more computational efficient than TFDTD at higher frequencies and larger geometries.
