Abstract
The report shows results from initial bistatic experiments performed by FOI, May 19 2006. The bistatic experiment was made at the VHF-band (20 - 90 MHz) using an airborne transmitter (CARABAS-II) and a groundbased, stationary receiver (LORA/VHF). The results shows that the used synchronization method of the receiver and transmitter is working satisfying, Bistatic images can be made using a recently developed projection method. Knowledge about signal processing of bistatic image data and of the design and planning of future experiments also have been gained.
