Microwave sensors on tactical mini-UAVs could contribute valuable potentials, such as allweather capabilities, in international mission oriented operations. In this report we summarise the current status of our research on microwave sensors for small vehicles like tactical UAVs. Covered topics include: - Conformal antennas for small platforms - 3D-imaging down-looking mm-wave sensors for urban terrain - Specifications and microwave sensor concepts for combined SAR/GMTI and see-and-avoid functions
