Slutrapport från FoT-projekt Teknik, Metodik och Demonstrationssystem för Informationsfusion (TMDI)

This document is the final report for the Research and Technology (FoT) project Techniques, Methods, and Demonstration systems for Information fusion (TMDI). The project has been active during the years 2004-2006. This has been a period when the expectations on information fusion functions have changed from supporting the formation of a situation picture at symmetric warfare to the corresponding at asymmetric conflicts and Operations Other Than War (OOTW). The report gives a brief decscription of this change of view on information need, as well as a review on how the project has been organized, and which areas of information fusion we have found important to address. The report is mainly to be regarded as a summary of the project activities. The outcomes of the project have continuously been delivered as scientific articles and conference contributions, FOI reports as well as demonstrations and seminars. Information on these outcomes has been delivered quarterly as FOI Memos. The written material that has been published in different ways is listed in the end of the report with the corresponding abstracts.
