The present report constitutes the annual report 2006 for the project E1421,"Assessment of EW in Future Defence". The work was persued along two main tracks, (i)EW, especially deception against large military decision systems, and (ii), Computer network Operations in the Cognitive Domain. The latter concept is seen as merging with EW. During 2006 the theory for high level deception/CNO in the cognitive domain that was previously developed, has been further consolidated and confirmed. The influence of the human factor has been especially studied in a couple of new field trials. The results comply with earlier trials and also with theory.
