Abstract

This report describes a study that was performed in a Swedish Air Force Control and Reporting Center. The purpose was to identify possible faults that might occur. Eight different focus areas were investigated, i.e. common understanding, workload, tediousness, difficulties, distribution of work, shift change, cooperation and sharing of information. The aim was to derive results that could make a contribution to the ongoing improvement processes. The overall result shows that operation in relation to the focus areas run smoothly. The participants perceive that they receive the information they need as well as distribute the information other need. Furthermore, they perceive cooperation within the team as good and their workload on a satisfactory level. However, it could be noticed that there was a certain discrepancy in relation to common understanding. It could not be established if it had any impact on their work.
