Laser sensors have a great potential for surface mine detection and classification in conjunction with passive optical sensors. This review will update the prestudy report from the MOMS program at FOI (MOMS: Multi Optical Mine detection System) concerning laser systems only. The report also contains performance estimates and some technology description sheets (corresponds to "playing-cards" in the Swedish notation) to be used in the upcoming system concept work.
