Abstract
In this study templates for different representative scenarios are presented based on a set of generic chemicals as well as examples of scenarios. We used a multivariate model to group the common toxic chemicals according to their chemical and physical as well as physical and toxicity properties. Five groups of chemicals in two different source strengths and four different environments were established. The outcome of the scenarios was discussed and a battery of questions as well as information regarding needs for handling the terrorist attack involved different chemicals were established as tools for the crisis management teams and Public Health. With help of the generic scenarios, templates and these tools training modules will be established in the next part of the project to increase the preparedness at different places were an attack is possible.
