Abstract

A preliminary study, which is sponsored by the National Fortifications Administration is reported. The goal is to make an inventory and propose tools and methods, with focus on protection that can be used for camp assessments. A number of tools, normally used for platform V/L-assessments, have been described within this study. The descriptions include information about the tool's availability in Sweden and its potential usefulness for camp assessments. A draft of wanted capabilities in a new camp assessment tool is presented. These wanted capabilities are compared with the capabilities of the tools presently used in Sweden. Many of the wanted capabilities are available already today, given that several tools are used in parallel. It should be possible to develop one of the Swedish tools in order to fulfil as many capabilities as possible.
