The following report presents the activities undertaken in the FoT-project "tactical command and collaboration within and between teams" during 2008-2010. The project has conducted several empirical studies focusing on the team and how the shared understanding can be assessed. In order to measure the shared understanding, the project has developed methods that have been tested and reviewed. Military focus has been on the tactical battle management and lower levels. This has in practice meant the study of command of tank units. The benefit for the Swedish Armed Forces is that this project provides a better understanding of how dissimilar conditions affect the chances of command to work efficiently. This is measurable using the methods developed by the project.
