This report presents a survey of processes, IT tools and concepts that are used within Nato in the conduct of Capability Based Planning and related activities. The focus lies with Nato tools and processes, but the Swedish context is touched upon as well. The report concludes with a discussion and recommendations about what IT tools may be appropriate for supporting the management of Nato capability requirements elements applied to a Swedish implementation of Capability Based Planning, as well as with recommendations for future work.
