Assessment of weapons and protection, lethality, vulnerability and risk. Summary of activities during 2011

The R&D project (Research and technology development project) "Värdering vapen och skydd, verkan, sårbarhet och risk", commonly referred to as "verkansvärdering", is scheduled to run during 2011-2013. The project gives a foundation for knowledge in a wide range of activities, all aimed to improve assessing various systems' performance with a focus on the interaction between the warhead and targets. In addition, technical performance of ammunition types that may pose a threat to Swedish personnel and equipment engaged in foreign missions and the defence of Sweden is compiled. This report provides a brief description of the activities carried out within the project during the year. It also includes presentations of other projects that utilise the knowledge that the R&D project develops, maintains and makes available.
