During the first half of 2012, the activities of project "Anläggningsksydd med fokus på internationella insatser" primarily focused on the weapon effects from air blast ad fragments. A master thesis is under closing comprising experiments and simulations where FSP with different geometries was shot against concrete plates. Material characterization has created a basis for simulation with hydrocode LS-Dyna. Activities includes attendending courses. A course in computational techniques with focus on penetration and air blast problems was conducted at the end of 2011 (the report was completed in 2012) and was summarized at an internal workshop at FOI, Grindsjön. A short course in penetration mechanics was attended at Southwest Research Institute, USA, during spring.
