This document describes the activities within the project Weapon System Assessment (Vapensystemvärdering) for the year 2012. The activities have been divided into three main areas that are important for supporting the Swedish Armed Forced with competence to assess weapon systems. These areas are Methodology for Weapon System Assessment, Precision Engagement with Indirect Fire and Quality Assurance. During 2012 a research tool have been developed to evaluate guided spinning and nonspinning projectiles in order to be able to assess Course Correcting Fuzes (CCF) and next generation of Precision Guided Munitions (PGM).
