This report is the final report of the project " A tool for environemntal impact assessment of defense materiel in a life cycle perspective." The project has sought to combine LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) and LCC (Life Cycle Cost Hastings) in the LCC tool CATLOC. An environmental module has been constructed in CATLOC where LCA data are weighted by means of a monetary weighting set. Within the scope of this project this weighting set has been developed further. Both LCA and LCC take into account all phases of a product's life cycle, and are therefore well suited to be combined. By making a cost weighting of the outcome from LCA it is possible to make a comparison of the environmental impact from different alternative products at procurement. It is also possible to make a comparison between the weighted environmental impact and the conventional cost.
