The report briefly describes synchronized cooperative broadcast technology and how it can be used in ad hoc networks. The technology has potential to provide robust communication in ad hoc networks, is insensitive towards mobility and provide short delays. These properties facilitate voice in narrow-band multi-hop networks. Possible drawbacks could be high power consumption and the necessity of complex receivers.
