Abstract

This report is a summary of results obtained within the project C detection during 2011-2013, financed by the Ministry of Defence. It is suggested to merge the projects C detection and B detection in 2015, and that C detection will proceed during 2014 with similar focus as today. The project activities can be divided in research, business and technological intelligence, and test and evaluation. The research has been oriented towards development of laboratory breadboard for detection of persistent CWA using UV Raman spectroscopy. The current setup can, with small adjustments, provide spectral and spatial detection of small droplets on different surfaces. Emphasis has been made to contribute with oral presentations at conferences. Within the project we are also taking active part as PFP country in three subgroups under NATO Detection, Identification & Monitoring Panel (DIM-P). Methods and facilities used for Test and Evaluation have been improved significantly during the project period. These efforts are important in order to maintain a high credibility in third party Test and evaluation by multinational manufacturers of C-detection instruments.
