Commissioning a simulation based study at the FLSC

This report is intended as a supporting basis for discussion between FOI/FLSC and clients of simulation-based studies at FLSC (Swedish Air Force Combat Simulation Center). The clients are primarily the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, which are the most frequent customers of simulation-based studies at FLSC. However, there are examples where also industry has commissioned such studies at FLSC. The purpose of the report is to convey the experiences of the design of a simulation-based study at FLSC to enhance the study's resource efficiency. The report provides a number of estimated timelines as well as recommendations for simulation-based studies at FLSC, based on the experiences from twenty simulation-based studies conducted at FLSC since the start year 1998.
