The research and technology program "Warhead- and armour technologies" started in January 2014. The project is a three years program and shall develop and preserve knowledge within the warhead and armour domain. Focus is on ground theatre but the research should also be applicable in other arenas. The project deals with warhead and armour technology issues related to defeating as well as protecting a broad range of air and ground targets. The activities are aimed to develop methods and technical data that will enable the Swedish armed forces to evaluate the performance of weapon and armour systems from a lethality and vulnerability perspective (both our own and those of the enemies). This report details the current status of the activities that have been initiated and conducted during the year 2014.
