The project "launch and propulsion", funded by the Swedish Armed Forces, is a three year project which started in 2014. This annual report describes the project background and scope and presents briefly the work carried out in 2014. In order to improve the understanding of guns, work started in 2014 to develop an advanced CFD based internal ballistic computational tool. Minimum smoke ADN-based propellants are studied as a mean to maintain a high level of expertise and to be an interesting international partner in the field of rocket propulsion. This work is partially performed in cooperation with the UK. A comparative study of various computer programs for calculating rocket motor performance and a study of air breathing engines have been performed.
