This report has been prepared in order to be used to support the process regarding chemical protection requirement definitions of chemical protection, when developing or purchasing new materials and clothes for chemical protection. Protective clothing must protect the user from chemicals in both gaseous, liquid and aerosol form. The report includes a compilation of methods for evaluation of chemical protective ability of materials, subsystems and complete systems and is intended as a tool box where to pick the appropriate parts from. A proposal on the process for determining the chemical protection capability of C-protective clothing/materials is described.
