Abstract

This report summarizes the third and last year's work and results of a project aimed at investigating the information needs and information presentation techniques for dismounted soldiers. The project aims to provide recommendations for information presentation and information management at the soldier and group level. This report describes two different field trials. One concerning navigation in the dark and one concerning target designation. The report also describes the continuation of the longitudinal study of the use of Blue Force Tracking at the platoon level. Furthermore, a field trial investigating target detection with different types of aiming equipment and two attended conferences are described.
