Abstract

This report describes the activities in the R&T-project Energetic systems in 2020. It also describes how the project is trying to respond to the four questions it has the R&T-plan of the Swedish Armed Forces. - What are the benefits of new energetic materials in weapon application and what are the requirements that will contribute to increased capability? - How should performance models for explosives and propellants be designed to allow predictions at a system level? - How can the performance of metallic systems (e.g. reactive metals and metallised explosives) be modelled in a better way? - What are the possibilities and limitations with new production techniques, such as additive manufacturing of energetic materials?
