The report describes a measurement system for characterization of vegetation effects on tactical radio links. The system allows broadband measurements with a high temporal resolution that makes it possible to separate frequency selective fading from temporal fading. The purpose of the system is to obtain measurements to validate existent, as well as future, propagation models and to give a reference base for the development of propagation models that utilize high-resolution geographical data. Moreover, a field trial, in which the measurement system was used, is documented in the report.
