Abstract

Strategic Outlook is a recurring collection of forward-looking FOI research, which highlights questions of great strategic importance for policy in the domains of defence, security, and foreign affairs. The theme of Strategic Outlook 9 is Future threats. In thirteen articles, researchers look ahead to describe possible future threats and analyse their policy implications. The collection offers a multifaceted perspective on the theme of future threats, bringing together insights from security policy and social sciences, as well as from natural sciences and technology.
