Abstract

Experimental testing of electronic equipment intending to establish its susceptibility to electromagnetic radiation exposure produces large quantities of data, which needs structuring and analysis. This report describes usage of a database developed in Microsoft Access to perform some of the post-processing of experimental data gathered within the research collaboration Development of High Power Microwave Test Methodology and Procedures between Fraunhofer INT, Germany, and FOI, Sweden. The database can import tabulated data from experiments and perform selection within some of the parameters, plot and tabulate selected data to visualize dependences on such parameters as frequency, average power density, pulse width, and pulse repetition rate. The database may be extended with additional ways of structuring and displaying correlations between electromagnetic susceptibility and various radiation parameters.
