An autonomous threat agent has been trained through reinforcement learning to execute attack scenarios against the cyber range Crate with the help of the tool Lore. The technical development of a platform for such an autonomous threat agent was difficult, which left only a few weeks for training the agent. The available time was too limited to allow learning anything of value. However, developed tools, methods and framework enable further research that hopefully results in training of competent autonomous threat agents.
