The emergence of new technologies and methods for human enhancement creates opportunities to improve individual performance. One example is developments in biotechnology, which over time is expected to open entirely new pathways for increasing human capacity. Another example is the miniaturization of electronics, which has enabled technologies that are either physically integrated into the body or incorporated into a wearable system. The aim is to explore the possibilities of human enhancement from a Swedish perspective. To move forward, a number of questions need to be clarified - including perspectives, ethical considerations, applicable legislation, and relevant decision-making processes. These questions tend to be complex. From the individual's point of view, the question is not limited to the desire to alter or enhance one's body, but also includes the influence of the surrounding environment - what others do, as well as society's demands and expectations. It involves a complex interplay between personal choices, social norms, and institutional structures. The report outlines frameworks that can support the evaluation of new technologies and methods for human enhancement. In addition, it makes an initial attempt to map different perspectives that may influence attitudes toward human enhancement.
