Abstract

FOI Defence Analysis has on behalf of the Parliamentary Defence Committee analysed the Kosovo Operation. A number of aspects are treated in different chapters written by FOI researchers. The following subjects, i.a., are discussed: NATO´s security policy considerations, then implementation of the air operation, IT-related efforts and influence of Russian thinking. In addition to this, implications for future Swedish international operations and experience gained by NATO are dealt with.
