Abstract

A preliminary study has been made to clarify the actual areas of use for the protective suit for health care personnel and to find a relevant EN standard for testing the suit. The study suggests a suit test, according to an EN standard, in order to achieve CE marking and also some complementary tests to improve the knowledge of the performance of the suit in possible situations of use. The suggested test for CE marking is according to standard prEN 13034:2002.
