Abstract

This travel report discusses experiences made participating in the Operational Capabilities Concept assessment and Feedback, Assessors Training Course (OCC A&F,ATC)held by Nato in Ninisalo, finland. The aim of the course was to make the participants able to plan and participate in assessments of interoperability with Nato for military units belonging to non-Nato nations. The most important experience made during the course is that the level of interoperability of a military unit should be judged from a Nato perspective and not from the participating nations perspective. There might even be higher demands regarding interoperability for smaller more interdependent units than for large and self-dependant units.
